What Is Currency Option Trading?

When people think about the currency market, they think of the foreign exchange market but thats not the only currency trading market. There is also the currency options market.

Currency options market deals with buying and selling the rights to buy and sell a set amount of currency in a specific time frame. That means that a person will have the right to sell a set amount of money in a given time frame at the present currency rate. So there is a great risk involved in making money.

Because the foreign currency market is opened twenty four hours a day, the currency option trading market stays open the same hours as well. That makes it the sole option trading market to do so.

Likewise, since the foreign currency market is unpredictable by nature, the currency option market will be the same to a certain extent. Dealing in the currency option market can be compared to betting. The question on you mind is; if you made this amount for the right to sell how much can you get back?

Unlike foreign current trading where you must make your decisions fairly quickly, the currency option trading is based on a set date so you do have a little more time, which is helpful.

Also, currency option trading is more flexible. You are able to shift your financial situation before the specific date of trading. Therefore, the currency market could be regarded as a safety net when in doubt about the foreign currency exchange market.

Dealing in currency options trading, you must be able to look on a bigger scale and see how events affect the market. You are working with possibilities of the future. The foreign exchange market may change many times before the date you are able to sell. You will be constantly on watch in order to move when the time comes.

Another thing that is necessary to deal in this market is access to the correct information. Contacts are important. One such example is, if a country has a coup, you might think that the currency will go down. However, if you have a contact, you may find out that the new government is progressive and is making changes that would help the currency.

As you can see, the currency option market is a little bit different from the foreign currency market. This kind of trading relies on the foreign exchange currency market but deals with the big picture.

What Is Forex Trading? Is It Right For Me?

What Is Forex Trading? Is It Right For Me?

Foreign Currency Exchange (FOREX) Trading is an exhilarating way to trade foreign currency in a market that runs 24 hours a day, five days a week. The Forex market is also the most volatile financial market in the world. It doesnt have a physical location, trading floor or central exchange like the NYSE or futures market does, but instead it functions and operates amid a global network of banks with trades taking place over an electronic network or by phone. With its nearly nonstop currency market where Forex brokers trade in the currencies of the world, profits are made or lost depending on how various nations currencies increase or decrease relative to each other. Current, real time events can influence currency prices and thus Forex trading brokers typically keep track of worldwide events on a minute by minute, hour by hour basis each day.

Even though Forex trading is volatile, there are many things to like about it. Since the Forex Trading System is open 24 hours a day, the majority of each week, it allows for ample time and numerous trading opportunities around the clock. This means Forex Brokers are not under as much pressure to initiate a trade as quickly as if they were playing the stock market. Also, since world government currencies are very liquid, they are much easier to trade than other securities. As with the stock and option markets, profits can be made either way, whether in a rising or falling market. And since Foreign Currency Trading is volatile by nature, it can afford even more profit opportunities than other markets.

Of course a persons Forex Trading Strategy should be to profit from the movement in currency values. As with any financial market, the more times a person gets it right, the more money they will make. In Forex or FX Trading, currency pairs are always used. FX Traders will try to determine, for instance, if the U.S. Dollar will rise in value over the British Pound, or vice versa. This is called a Currency Pair. Another trader may have some Forex information that informs them that the Euro will increase in value against the Dollar. They would then pay X amount of Dollars for X amount of Euros. As time went on and the Euro did strengthen against the Dollar then they could sell the Euros for even more Dollars than they had invested originally. Foreign Currency Exchange is essentially the simultaneous buying of one currency and the selling of another.

There is no doubt that the Forex Currency Trading System is unique. It has its own set of rules and opportunities. It can be as fast moving or slow as a trader would like. A big advantage is the number of hours in a week that a trader can place and execute trades. It can be volatile just as with any market. If a person studies their options and does their homework, a great deal of profit making opportunities exists in Foreign Currency Trading. As with any financial markets, a good Forex Trading Strategy will go a long way in determining what kind of profits you will make.

Seven Come Leverage-7 Reasons Why Forex Is a Superior Trading

Seven Come Leverage-7 Reasons Why Forex Is a Superior Trading Arena for Individuals

Over the last decade or so, the Foreign Currency Exchange markets and trading platforms have become a superior arena for active individual investors. Trading world currencies for the difference in exchange rates can be a lucrative hobby and a very satisfying lifestyle. Following are some points to ponder when comparing the Forex market with stocks, bonds, commodities and mutual funds.

1. Liquidity

An average day in the Forex market sees approximately 1.9 trillion US dollars worth of trade. Almost every country in the world has institutional and individual traders who are active and have a personal interest in this largest of commodities. Over 7000 international banks and small and large speculators make up the largest market in the world.

2. Leverage

Leverage is the use of a tool to influence the directional trend of a mass that would otherwise be much more difficult to control, if not impossible. Previously only master traders with a $100 million account had access to the inter-bank currency exchange.

With the recent enormous international growth this market is now open to the home computer. Individual traders now have the same leverage guarantees that international banks have had for years. A very small amount of money can be used to control a very large contract of foreign currency. Up to 200:1 leverage is available, and higher in some cases. This means $1000 can be used to hold $200,000 worth of another currency, with a large account.

3. Brokers

As a trader gains experience, a full service paid broker is no longer necessary. All trades can be initiated and terminated from the traders choice of office. The home office needs high speed internet, a telephone line, and a computer. Location is only limited to these requirements. The Forex market is operated online by several hundred large banks processing trades of governments and large companies, and has no real central location.

4. Software

A number of free software applications are offered by brokerage houses specifically written for the average home computer. The greater power the computer has will naturally offer more local speed, but most current computers will work fine. These programs offer real-time charting, several dozen indicators, live price feed, or a minimal 10 second delay, and the capability to sell and buy currency pairs immediately online.

Software programs costing $2000 and up are available with advanced features, but are not necessary for the beginning trader. More complicated software may only increase the education period, and hinder time better spent learning trading strategies.

5. Hours of Trading

The Forex market is truly global, trading 24 hours a day every day. Short periods during the weekend have slower activity, but with time differences around the world, these periods are minimal. The Asian market opens Sunday evening in North American time, and all markets run continuously until Friday afternoon. Someone is actively trading somewhere virtually round the clock.

6. Live Practice

Most brokers offer a free demo version of their live software, easily downloaded and installed. No account deposit is needed. The programs work exactly like the real versions, with buy/sell capability, real-time data updates; a realistic $50,000 account with active profit and loss; open, pending and closed trades; and actual stop, limit and market trades.
The trader can practice trading tactics until confident and successful.

7. Initial Investment

Recent developments now allow a minimum account deposit of US$250. This mini-account offers lower leverage, but also lower profit and loss. Once a broker learns to trade profitably, this can easily be built into a larger and fully leveraged account.

A minimal $300 investment can realistically be compounded into a $30,000 account in six months, with access to proper training. Brokers naturally offer conservative training courses, so the trader should look elsewhere for more advanced mentoring. Much training is available on the internet, and a website called Precise4XSuccess.com offers access to cutting-edge successful strategies developed by a mathematician. Not all successful strategies are made public. Do your due diligence to find the methods that work for you.

8-45. This article promised to stop at seven, but there are at least several dozen more reasons why the individual speculator might consider foreign currency trading. It is a lucrative, fascinating and very rewarding occupation that can be done almost anywhere and any time you choose to trade.

Good trading, Kelly Archibald.

Learning The Forex Trading Basics For Better Understanding

The forex market, also known as the foreign currency exchange market, has been around for quite some time. The reason it has become only recently popular is because once upon a time only the financial elite had enough assets and access to the foreign currency exchange market. Only major corporations, banks and opulent individuals who possessed great wealth were allowed entrance into these chambers of currency commerce. Alas, the world has evolved and a new entity has come into existence and altered the human way of life. Technology. The greatest invention being the Internet. Now time and space have practically lapsed and we have the ability to contact anyone, anywhere, at anytime. This makes the world quite different from what it used to be.

Today any individual can open up an online forex account and begin trading. He needs no qualifications, no justifications, just a suffice bank account. One can open up an online forex trading account for as little as $5000. Thats incredible. Whereas the New York stock exchange is centered in New York and has specific trading hours, the forex market is global and not tied down to a specific location. An investor may conduct trades from wherever he is on earth, no matter what the local time is. The forex trading day actually commences in Sydney, Australia. From there it progresses gradually east, sweeping through financial centers like a ghost of finest velvet. Barely tangible yet so lucrative. The average daily turnover in the forex trading market is $2 trillion US dollars. To be part of something that is so fantastic must be great, no?

Surely you have already begun to fantasize about the luscious millions you will earn overnight. Thought this is technically possible and there have been quite a few accounts of individuals who have earned great sums in the span of just twenty four hours, one still needs to take the proper precautions when investing money in such a volatile market. As high as the profit is, so is the risk. Thats why its not enough just to know about stocks, bonds and trading strategies. You need an in depth education.

First of all, you need to know basics. Forex trading is an automated system and so you must realize that most of the things youll have to learn will be part of a much greater system of signals and signs. The most basic and primary thing you should be aware of is that you buy and sell currencies, at the same time. Meaning, as you buy one currency, you are selling another. Furthermore, you attempt to purchase a currency when its value is low and sell a currency when its value is high. So far, so good.

Next you need to learn the terminology and currency pairs. You will find them listed in a different chapter on this website and they are explained in laymans terms so that anybody can understand them.

There are so many websites and online tutorials that teach about forex trading. There are also tons of college or university classes that really teach everything you need to know. If you are serious about becoming a forex trader and understanding the automated forex system, you will have to study hard and open your mind to learning.

After abstract theories and learning the nooks, you will be advised to practice forex trading on a dummy account. Trying to become a forex trader without this practice would be like trying to become a lifeguard without ever learning how to swim. It would never work.

The reason there are so many options for dummy forex accounts is simple. Its because any experienced forex trader or broker know that entering the forex trading system, especially the automated forex trading system, is not an easy task if youve never actually done a trade. You would not want to open up a real trading account and spend real money without having any clue how to do so. Thats why there are so many options for these fake accounts and you should put them to good use.

After you feel youve experienced enough fake trading and demos, you need to decide what sort of automated system you would like to use for your trading purposes. The reason you need a system is because you need constant updates about currency values and alerts for trades you would like to conduct. Automated systems allow you to conduct several transactions at one time through creating different trading platforms. The system you choose will present you with the required charts that express the market trends that have happened within a certain time frame. Thats why you need to know not only how to read charts and understand how to manipulate them, but also which type of automated system will serve your trading needs best.

Is FOREX trading Right For You?

FOREX is the abbreviated termed used to describe the world’s largest foreign currency exchange market where of 1.5 Trillion dollars is traded on a daily basis. This more than 100 times the trading volume that occurs on the NYSE, and is fast becoming the hot spot for individual investors. A market that was once only accessible to large corporations and government entities is now available to individual investors with online trading accounts. Despite the hype and excitement around this market, is it right for you?

ACCESSIBILITY. Unlike most investment markets that open and close with the ring of a bell, the FOREX market is open 24 hours a day, six days a week. Trades can be made anytime the market is open from your home computer through the major trading centers located Sydney, Tokyo, London, Frankfurt and New York. Because of this you can act instantly upon news that may affect the market.

LIQUIDITY. Because of the high volumes that are being traded in this worldwide marketplace, there will always be a buyer or seller available for your trade. The trades occur in the “spot” market so your position closes immediately, avoiding the risks sudden market swings. The liquidity also helps insure price stability and lower spreads.

VOLATILITY. The FOREX market is always moving. Because of the liquidity of the market, you can make money when the market is moving up, down or even sideways. Volatility in other markets is oftentimes equated to risk or loss, but in the FOREX market volatility equates to profit potential.

MARGIN. Trading on margin means that you can buy or sell assets greater than the value of your account. You may be able to trade on margin in other investment accounts, but nothing like you can do in the FOREX market. Because currency exchange rates generally only fluctuate 1-2% daily, you can leverage your investment dollar for greater returns. The most common margin is 50:1, but you can find some trading accounts that will up to 200:1 margin. For example, if your risk capital is $10,000, you could control $500,000 to $1,000,000 in currency contracts. This type of leverage gives you the potential to make profits very quickly, but you can also lose your money just as fast. It is recommended to have a disciplined investment plan that does not put all of your capital at risk and is followed by stop losses to protect your returns.

PROFIT POTENTIAL. You do not need a large amount of investment capital to get started in this market. However, it is suggested that whatever capital you begin with is money that you can afford to lose. With FOREX mini-accounts, you can get started for as little as $300. With some discipline and a proven trading plan, you could realistically turn your $300 investment into thousands of dollars within a few weeks or few months. Without a trading plan, you could be out of the market within days.

PAPER TRADING. Most investment companies will set you up with a free paper trading account so you can practice your trading plan for 60 to 90 days before you begin actual trading. It is much better to lose money on paper that it is suffer a real loss to your own pocketbook. Once you have proven your trading plan you can open up a margin account and begin actual trading. FOREX is often traded without commissions (the profits are in the spread), making it an attractive investment opportunity for those who want to trade on a more frequent basis.

As you can see, the risks or disadvantages perceived in other markets actually become the profits and advantages of the FOREX market. As always, with any investment, one should proceed with caution, having an established trading plan and risking only money that they can afford to lose.

How To Trade Successfully In The Forex Market

To trade successfully in the Foreign Currency Exchange (Forex) Market, there are certain principles that must be adhered to at all times. There are a lot of investors who have made some really questionable trades when everything looked so good. The investors and speculators Im referring to have sunk good money into investments and lost it within days, weeks or months. Some have done their homework and still received the short end of the stick, but the vast majority who turn what looks like a good investment into something that a savvy investor can smell a mile away, more times than not havent done their homework. This article talks about the Forex (Foreign Currency Exchange) Market and lists key elements needed to make money effectively.

Liquidity is Key:

Believe me; I know from personal experience how to lose good money after badas do many in my family. I keep telling myself it must be genetic. One way to really get yourself in deep is to play the pink sheets, also known as penny stocks. These are the stocks which typically have very low trading volume each day and if you have enough shares it is nearly impossible to trade them without severely affecting the price of the stock. And the more volume you trade the more you begin to affect your own price whether you are buying or selling. Needless to say, I have crossed those investments off my list as of a few years ago. They just dont have the liquidity you need to give yourself an advantage. Sure, you can find a needle in the haystack, that one in a million stock, but for every successful penny stock, thousands go under or dont return much if any on your investment.

This brings us to the Forex Market. What better market to get the best liquidity possible. With my days of trading penny stocks, complete with their thin trading volumes, over, I am naturally attracted to trading which takes place in an arena where the definition is liquidity. When a trading arena is liquid, you can always trade your investment without affecting other positions you want to buy or sell. You dont have the problem like you would trading penny stocks where a small move here or there dramatically affects the price of the stock you are trading. The Forex Market is too big and too many governments, organizations, funds and individuals participate.

Perfect Your Strategy:

Some of the most successful Forex Trading occurs when a person perfects their strategy and executes it to perfection each and every time based on the core belief that their strategy is the best for them. It takes practice to perfect a strategy, but most successful Forex Traders have one. They dont simply jump on every new potential strategy or tip that comes along. From time to time it is good to try new aspects of other strategies to see if you can improve on a good thing, but to know your strategy inside and out and be able to duplicate it makes all the difference. A good rule of thumb to use is when you arent sure of a trade, do nothing. Dont trade if you are not positive it fits your strategy. It also helps if you concentrate on one market at a time. Like the old adage, you literally dont want to be a Jack of all trades and a Master of None

Go Long:

Trading successfully in the Forex is about longevity. The longer you can keep trading the Forex, the longer you have to perfect your strategy and the longer you can stay in the game. It reminds me of craps when I occasionally have time to play. I have friends that can blow through $1,000 in an hour or two and then they have to take the rest of the day off so they can have enough funds left to try it again another day. I take a different approach. I can survive all day long on $500 and most of the time I can double or triple that amount and be able to stay at the table all day if I want. It is both entertainment and profit that I am after. If I stay entertained longer, I have the chance to make more money.

The reason I can last longer is because I have perfected My strategy and I dont try every new one that comes along in the multitudes of craps books that my friends read. The point I am making is this: Staying power is key with any investment. The longer you can hang in there to increase your education and perfect your strategy, the more you will enjoy the Forex Market and the more you will profit from it. And speaking of profit, you will want to remember to keep your profitable positions for a longer time than you keep your losing positions. Let your profits ride and you will be more successful. Fight the urge to get out of a position when it makes you a quick profit. Getting out of a losing position takes brute courage, but you will thank yourself for getting out quick if the position is not going the way you would like. You should always check your pride at the door when trading any market. Many of us dont want to admit defeat, but it is necessary to be successful. It can really get in the way of successful trading.

Foreign Currency Trading (Forex) Trading is exciting. With the tips and thoughts above, hopefully you will feel right at home trading the currencies of the most powerful nations in the world. As long as you stick to your strategy and make sure you let your profits ride and cut your losses, you will become successful in Forex Trading.

Forex 101 – Foreign Currency Exchange Trading

Nearly everyone enjoys making money. More often than not, the more money we make the better we feel and the more confidence we have. These are good things as long as making money doesnt get too emotional. If investing is treated like a business and most of the emotion is left behind, many people can do well with their investments.

Forex Trading, also known as FX Trading is another way you can make money in a trading environment. Everyone has heard of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) or the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), each featuring either stock trading or options and futures trading. Forex Trading involves the buying and selling of currencies instead of stocks, bonds, options or futures. It is also different in that there is no physical floor or exchange area like there is in New York or Chicago where the above mentioned exchanges are located. The Foreign Exchange Market (FOREX) can only be accessed by phone or by electronic network. The advantage of not having a central location, but instead having an electronic network, is that the Forex can operate 24 hours a day. In fact, it is open for trading all day and night during work days, roughly 5 days a week.

Since the Spot Forex Market is the largest financial market in the world, it is also the most liquid. This means it is easy to get in and out of a position whenever you want. The more liquid a market is, the easier it is to initiate and fulfill a transaction. Of course, the objective when trading in any market is to buy low and sell high. With Online Forex Trading, a person buys and sells the currencies of other nations. If one believes the U.S. Dollar will strengthen against the EURO, for instance, they can buy Dollars now and sell them later at a profit. Currencies are traded in currency pairs and each currency is represented by a 3 letter code. Therefore, a rate, which consists of a pair of currency codes, will end up being a 6 letter code. For instance, USD/GBP is considered a currency pair with each containing three letters for a total of 6 in a rate.

Your objective as a Forex trader is to make sure you can correctly identify the current trend in the currencies you are trading and to make sure you are buying a currency which is appreciating in value and selling a currency which is depreciating. Slightly different than stock trading, you will utilize special software programs which allow you to participate in Online Forex Trading. You can also participate in Forex Trading Education at many Forex Trading company websites, and some allow you to test your Forex Trading Strategy in a practice mode before you actually use your own money.

Forex or FX Currency Trading can be an exciting alternative to the stock, bond, option or precious metals markets. To some it is a simpler way to trade and profit. To others it is a welcome break from disappointing corporate news that can drive a stock down dramatically in seconds. Whatever your reasons, Forex Trading may be just the break you need from other investments you may be tiring of.

Forex Trading Vs. Options Discover The Difference

Forex Trading, also known as FX Trading or by many as the Foreign Currency Exchange, is a financial market where a person can trade national currencies in order to try and make a profit. Perhaps one feels the U.S. Dollar will get stronger compared to the British Pound or the Euro. A strategy can be developed to affect this trade and if the research is correct, a good profit can be made.

Options Trading allows you to buy or sell options on large amounts of stock, futures etc. that you feel will either go up or down in price over a certain period of time. As with Forex Trading, you can leverage your buying power to control more stock or futures for instance, than you could have normally. However, there are differences between Forex and Options Trading. Many of the differences are described below.

24 Hour Trading:

An advantage you have with the Forex Currency Trading System (Forex) as compared to Options trading is your ability to trade 24 hours a day, five days a week if you wish. The Forex Market is open longer than any other market. If your goal is to make double digit gains in a market, it is great to have unlimited time each week to make those trades. Whenever some big event happens around the world, you can be one of the first to take advantage of the situation with Forex Trading. You wont have to wait for a market to open in the morning like you would if you were trading Options. You can trade from your computer instantaneously, all hours of the day and night.

Rapid Trade Execution:

When you use the Forex Currency Trading System, you receive immediate trade executions. There is no delay like there can be in Options or for that matter other markets as well. And your order gets filled at the best possible price instead of guessing which price your order might get filled. Your order certainly wont slip like it can with Options. In Forex Trading, there is a lot more liquidity to help with slippage than there is in Options Trading.

Liquidity:

Forex Trading has the advantage of being more liquid than any other market, including Options Trading. With the average daily volume in the Forex Market reaching close to 2 Trillion, there is no comparison. The liquidity in Foreign Currency Trading (Forex) far surpasses that in the Options Market. This means when it comes time to trade, Forex Trades will be filled much easier than Options trades will. This speed means more potential profit. Couple this with instantaneous trade execution in Forex Trading, and you have the ability to make a lot of trades quickly.

No Commissions:

Forex or FX Trading is Commission Free because it is an inter-bank market which matches buyers with sellers in an instant. There are no middleman brokerage fees as with other markets. There is a spread between the bid and ask price and this is where Forex trading firms make some of their profit. This means you can save money when you trade Forex compared to Options trading where there are commissions since you would be working with a brokerage firm.

Greater Leverage:

Online Forex Trading can give you much greater leverage than playing Options. However, with Options, you can also manage putt and call options in a way to greatly increase your leverage. Leverage can be very important when you know what a currency is going to do. You can achieve 200:1 or greater in Forex Trades compared to less typically in Options, but it can be close. This means with Forex, there can be substantially more potential profit if you make the right move.

Limited Risk is Guaranteed:

Since Forex Traders must have position limits, the risk is limited since the online capabilities of the Forex Trading system automatically initiate a margin call when the margin amount is greater than the value of the account in dollars. This keeps a Forex Trader from losing too much if their position goes the other way. It is a good safety feature that is not always available in other financial markets. And the Forex is different than Options in that with Options, you only have a certain period of time to trade before the options expire.

When considering the differences between Forex Trading and Options, just keep in mind your preferred trading style and the type of risk you are willing to take. There are definite advantages to Forex or FX Trading that may allow you to profit greatly if you develop a good system and stay within your trading limits. If you are ready to go, then begin investigating a good Forex firm with whom to open a Foreign Exchange Trading Account.

Forex Trading Vs. Commodities See What You Could Be

Forex Trading Vs. Commodities See What You Could Be Missing

Foreign Currency Exchange (Forex) Trading involves determining whether a certain nations currency will go up or down compared to another major currency. When you trade in the Forex, you trade currency pairs: Pairs of national currencies which go up or down relative to each other.

When you trade Commodities (anything found naturally in nature or planted) you determine if the price of a certain commodity will go up or down based on whether you believe there will be a good growing season, increased mining prospects, a bad growing season, floods, drought, strikes etc. Mother Nature plays a much stronger role in trading commodities than it does in trading currency. And we all know Its not nice to fool Mother Nature.

World Events:

As mentioned above, the constant change in weather patterns from year to year can play havoc on the commodities market. If its not the weather it could be strikes by miners, new mineral discoveries, dry holes, war or a multitude of different events, all of which can completely change the outlook for commodities. The possibility of good sized gains exists in the commodities market, but the risk of huge losses due to crop failures, etc. is also present. You have to be very careful if you play the commodities market. With currency, the Forex Market can also be affected by worldwide changes, but they typically have a less dramatic effect on your portfolio than what can occur with commodities. Overall the Forex market is the safer bet of the two.

Forex Trading Information Easy to Find:

Information about trading commodities can be fairly difficult to find, especially information which is free. There is an ample amount of information available, but a lot of it is costly to obtain. Forex information is much more accessible and most of it is free. You can also sign up for practice accounts at many Forex sites and actually try your hand at Forex trading without risking your capital. This makes for a great introduction to Forex Trading and lets you know what the possibilities are. These practice accounts in Forex Trading are typically not available in the commodities arena.

Hours of Operation:

The Forex Market is open 24 hours a day, five days a week. There is no other market open this long. If you trade the Forex, you have more opportunities and time to complete your trades and trade again than with commodities or any other market.

Liquidity Ease of Buying and Selling:

Again, the Forex Market does the most volume as compared to all other markets. If it is going to be easy to buy and sell positions, Forex will be the easiest with all its volume.

Highly Predictable:

Commodity prices can jump all around the board depending on demand, weather, crop percentages planted, oil found or not found, etc. Forex markets are more predictable. Sure, currency prices can fluctuate and become volatile at times, but there is more of a pattern involved with Forex. There are more trends created in Forex that can be followed compared to the commodity market. This can make it easier to be consistent when trading the Forex.

Commission Free Trading and Instantaneous Order Execution:
Because the Forex Market is an open market and has no centralized trading floor, when you trade in the Forex, you dont pay a middleman. In other words, you dont pay a commission to trade. Money is made by institutions on the difference between the bid and ask price, but that occurs with any market. The fact that you dont pay commissions or fees can really save you money in the long run.

Both Commodities Trading and Forex Trading can be exciting and profitable. It is up to the individual investor to decide which is best for their respective situation. With more information available for Forex Trading and with the information being free or very inexpensive, complete with free demo accounts available to practice trading, its hard to go wrong with Forex Trading.
